Hey Funnel Hacker,

Did you see, the winner of the first-ever ClickFunnels Funnel Games was announced on Saturday??

One of the funnel builders Russell and the Funnel Builder Certification team trained, Brooke Giroux, beat out stiff competition from AgencyCoach.

Brooke actually doubled the opt-in rate against the control, which is incredible.

Here's a snapshot of her winning landing page:

A huge congratulations to Brooke. There were so many entries. Winning this competition (and doubling the conversion rate of the control) is a very big achievement!

An honorable mention has to go to GeekOut and Koen De Wit, whose sales on the back end were spectacular as well!

If you'd like to speak to Brooke about building a funnel for you, check out her profile (and other funnel builders who took part in the Funnel Games) at the Funnel Builder Marketplace here.

Now, let's see what gold we've uncovered for today's newsletter…

TIKTOK'S POWERFUL AD FEATURES
If you could predict with 90% accuracy what ads would drive large numbers of leads into your funnels, you would have no fear in running them, right?

Well, TikTok has created an ads feature that will do just that.

It's called 'Top Products', and it allows you to track the popularity of ads other businesses are running.

Top Products shows you products and their popularity (based on the number of ads posted featuring this product or category) so you know what's trending.

They also show you click-through rates, conversion rates, and the average cost per acquisition.

You can find top Products in the Creative Center and can filter the list by region and category and view data from the last day, 7 days, or 30 days.

The best part is that you can find ads based on niche.

So, you can find an ad that matches your niche, click for more details, and TikTok will show you far more data:

This information is incredibly valuable by itself, but if you want to take your ads to a whole new level…

You should combine the insights of TikTok's Top Products with the gold in Traffic Secrets (which you can get for free here).

You'll have insights into exactly what ads are working right now and the perfect framework for maximizing their impact.
AGGRESSIVE RETARGETING FOR BETTER AD RESULTS
On the topic of ads, once you have created your ads, you might want to consider implementing Aggressive Retargeting…

If you haven't heard of it, Aggressive Retargeting is a fairly new marketing concept that is having some great results.

As you well know, most customers need to see your ads multiple times before they convert. However, most businesses don't run retargeting campaigns.

If you're one of them, you could be leaving money on the table because a study conducted by Criteo, a retargeting platform, found that retargeting ads can increase conversion rates by up to 43%!

This is where Aggressive Retargeting comes in.

You don't use aggressive copy or anything crazy like that, you simply make sure the prospect sees your face and/or product around the internet for a while afterwards.

This keeps you top-of-mind and drives people back to your website to complete their purchase.

If you're interested in how many times people need to see your ad, recent studies and industry practices suggest varied frequencies:
  • Facebook research recommended one to two exposures per week over 10 weeks.
  • The audience measurement company, Nielsen, found that digital ads require between 5 to 9 exposures to improve branding and increase consumer acceptance
  • The manager of corporate public opinion research at the General Electric, Herbert E. Krugman, suggests just 3 exposures are needed. The first builds curiosity, the second builds recognition, and by the third, the individual has made their decision.
  • Our own ad expert, John Parkes, suggests what works very well is having 2x daily for days 1-3, 1x daily for 3-7, and perhaps every other day from 7-10. He shared a great video discussing this further and type of content you want to use in each set here (it's a short video).
  • Thomas Smith wrote a guide called Successful Advertising in 1885, suggesting the ideal number was 20.
Again, retargeting and so much more is covered in length in Traffic Secrets (and it's free here).

If you haven't read it, you will be blown away by how much traffic you'll be able to drive to your funnels.

SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASE CONVERSIONS WITH A VIDEO FUNNEL
Anyone who has ever looked at the metrics of a video within their funnel knows drop-off rates can be enormous.

In fact, a study by the University of Massachusetts discovered that after clicking 'play' on a video, roughly 6% of the audience departs every second.

In the study, after only five to ten seconds, 20% of viewers had left.

If you need people to watch a whole video in order to educate them and capture their email, you're losing potential customers by the bucket load.

However, what if your video itself could act as a funnel?

What if you could have someone start watching your video and then get their email address in a completely natural way, in the video?

What if you could then ask them (in the video) specifically what they're looking for, what problem they are looking to solve, and automatically load you diving into that exact topic?

This would ensure you get their information before most drop off and you can provide them with greater value, which should keep a higher percentage of people around until the end.

If this is something you think would benefit your business, check out the video below.

Russell shows you exactly how it works so you can see and feel first hand how powerful this is.
